Every number on our pages comes from a source that we link to at the bottom of the page: mostly the cable car company Zermatt Bergbahnen, Zermatt Tourism, the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, the Gornergrat Bahn, the Italian lift company of Cervinia, Switzerland Tourism and public health bodies. The month-by-month climate figures are averages we calculated ourselves from the daily open data of the MeteoSwiss station in Zermatt; they describe the village, not the summit. Information on tours, that is duration, languages, inclusions, and starting prices, is taken from the offers on GetYourGuide.
Operating times change with the seasons, a lift can stop in strong wind, and listings differ in what they include. That is why we tell you plainly what a listing states and what it leaves open.
