What this is about
These terms apply to the use of the website matterhornglacierride.com. Matterhorn Glacier Ride is an independent guide to the cable car from Zermatt up to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise in Switzerland: the tickets, the ride itself, what waits at the top, the crossing to Italy, and the trip to Zermatt. We do not sell cable car tickets, passes or tours ourselves, and we are not the cable car company.
Who sells your tour
If you book a tour through one of our links, you enter into the contract on the GetYourGuide website with GetYourGuide or with the respective tour operator. Their terms and conditions apply. They are responsible for the tour, payments, rebookings, and cancellations, not we.
Prices and availability
Prices on this website are starting prices and are for orientation only. If you convert them into another currency, we use reference rates from the European Central Bank; the result is an approximate value. Only the price and availability shown by GetYourGuide before booking are binding.
Mountain Conditions, Seasons and Operating Times
High-mountain lifts change their operating times with the season and close for maintenance on dates their operator announces. Wind, fresh snow or a storm can stop a cable car at short notice, and cloud can hide the Matterhorn for a whole day even when the lifts run. No one can promise a particular ride, a clear view or a given temperature at the top. What your ticket covers and when it can be used is set by the operator and by the listing you book, so check the current operating times and the listing details before you travel.
